Meridian

To effectively work with the Meridian Engineering Document Management System from Accruent, a laptop with the following specifications is recommended:

Processor: A modern multicore processor, such as an Intel Core i5 or i7, or equivalent AMD processor, to handle the demands of document management software efficiently.

RAM: A minimum of 8GB of RAM is recommended to ensure smooth performance when accessing and managing engineering documents. However, 16GB or more would be preferable for handling larger document databases and multitasking effectively.

Storage: Ample storage space is necessary to store engineering documents, revisions, and associated data. A solid-state drive (SSD) with a capacity of at least 256GB is recommended for fast access to documents and improved system responsiveness.

Graphics Card: While Meridian primarily relies on CPU and memory resources rather than graphical capabilities, a dedicated graphics card with OpenGL support may enhance the performance of certain visualization features within the software.

Operating System: Ensure that your laptop runs a compatible operating system, such as Windows 10 or newer versions of Windows, as specified by Accruent for running Meridian software.

Connectivity: Reliable internet connectivity is essential for accessing documents stored in the cloud or collaborating with team members remotely. Additionally, having a variety of ports (such as USB, HDMI, and Ethernet) ensures seamless connectivity with external devices and networks.
